Painted in Adobe Photoshop and/or Corel Painter using a Wacom graphics tablet. In most cases, the preliminary drawings were done with pencil on paper. The sketches are scanned and used as a guide for the digital painting.

DIGITAL PAINTING Exactly like traditional painting, except that I use my Mac and a graphics tablet instead of a box of paints or pastels. And, I never run out of materials!

Mixed Digital & Traditional Artwork that contains traditional media, like pen & ink, watercolor or acrylic. The artwork is scanned and Photoshop is used to finish it up.

Actual Painting "Traditional" media — like acrylic, oil or watercolor applied with real brushes to actual paper, board or canvas.

Line Pencil or pen & ink on paper — or the digital equivalent.

3D Modeling 3D modeling is done with Daz 3D's Carrara and Strata Design 3D CX. Three-dimensional models are built, textured, arranged, and lit within the software and then rendered to high-resolution, photorealistic images.

Vector Art Vector graphics are illustrations or graphics created in Adobe Illustrator, or a similar vector art program. What makes Vector art different from Raster art -- the format of digital painting and photos -- is that vector art is scalable without loss of quality. Whether postage stamp or billboard size, the artwork stays clean.
